Welcome to RH Hairdressing! Our salon is home to five skilled, friendly, self-employed stylists who each run their own individual business within our shared space. To make your experience smooth and stress-free, here’s everything you need to know.

 

 

1. Independent Stylists

 

All stylists at RH Hairdressing — including the salon owner — are self-employed.

This means every stylist is solely responsible for their own:

• Bookings and appointment management

• Prices and services

• Professional insurance

• Products and stock

• Client care, aftercare, and corrections

• Complaints and dispute handling

 

The salon owner has no responsibility for the actions, services, or business practices of any other stylist.

 

 

2. Booking Appointments

 

All stylists use the same online booking system, giving you an easy way to see availability and book at your convenience.

 

Although the system is shared, each stylist manages:

• Their own service list

• Their own pricing

• Their own availability

• Their own deposit and cancellation rules

 

If you need to amend or cancel an appointment, please do this through by contacting your stylist directly.

 

 

3. Deposits, Cancellations & No-Shows

 

Each stylist sets their own policies, which may differ slightly.

Your stylist will inform you of their:

• Deposit requirements

• Cancellation timeframes

• No-show fees

 

Please take a moment to read these when booking to avoid any misunderstandings.

 

 

4. Payments

 

Payments are taken directly by each stylist, not by RH Hairdreading as a salon.

 

Your stylist will confirm the payment methods they accept (such as card, cash, or bank transfer).

 

 

5. Complaints & Service Concerns

 

If you have any concerns about a service, please speak directly to the stylist who carried out your appointment.

 

Because each stylist is self-employed:

• The salon or salon owner cannot issue refunds or corrections

• The salon or salon owner cannot intervene in complaints

• All issues must be handled by the individual stylist and their insurance policy

 

Stylists will always aim to resolve matters fairly and professionally.

 

 

6. Health & Safety

 

Each stylist is responsible for keeping their own workspace clean and safe.

 

Please inform your stylist of any:

• Allergies

• Sensitivities

• Medical conditions

 

This helps ensure the products used are suitable for you.

 

 

7. Personal Belongings

 

We want your visit to be relaxing, but please keep valuables with you at all times.

RH Hairdressing cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.

 

 

8. Children & Additional Guests

 

To keep the salon safe and comfortable:

• Children must be supervised at all times

• Please check with your stylist before bringing guests, as space can be limited

 

 

9. Respectful Environment

 

We aim to create a warm, friendly atmosphere for everyone.

Abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service.
